Cookie policy
Last updated: 10 August 2026What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work properly, more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owners.
Similar technologies (local storage, session storage, pixels) are treated in this policy in the same way as classic cookies.
How we use cookies
The site infinity-competitions.com uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you securely signed in to your account, to process payments, to remember your preferences (such as language and shopping cart) and to measure traffic in aggregate. Details about each category are presented below.
The legal basis for our use of cookies
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, we may use the following without your consent: (i) cookies that are strictly necessary for the services you request (authentication, security, payments), (ii) cookies that remember your appearance and functionality preferences, and (iii) analytics used solely to produce statistical information about how the Site is used, in order to improve it. Our analytics provider processes this information only on our behalf — it does not use it for its own purposes and does not track you across other websites.
Where we rely on the statistical (analytics) exception, the law requires us to tell you clearly what we collect — which this page does — and to give you a free and simple way to opt out. You can opt out of analytics at any time using the control below. We do not use any advertising or cross-site tracking cookies; if that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.
Categories of cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the site to function and cannot be disabled. They sign you in securely, keep your session secure and enable payments.
2. Language preference cookies
We remember the language you choose so the Site loads in your preferred language on your next visit.
3. Analytics (Umami)
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to understand in aggregate how the Site is used. Umami does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, does not build individual profiles and does not share data with third parties for advertising; it stores a small amount of data in your browser's local storage, including your analytics opt-out preference. We use it solely to improve the Site, and you can turn it off at any time using the button below.
For details on how Umami collects data, see the Umami documentation.
4. Security and anti-bot cookies (Cloudflare Turnstile)
On pages with public forms (account creation, newsletter subscription) we use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated sign-ups. In order to work, Turnstile may store short-lived technical data on your device, needed to remember the result of the check. This is strictly necessary for the security of the Site, is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and cannot be disabled without blocking the submission of these forms.
For details on the data Turnstile processes, see the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Opt out of analytics
You can turn Site analytics off (or back on) for this browser at any time using the button below. Opting out is free and does not affect any Site functionality.
How to manage cookies
You can also control cookies in several other ways:
- Through browser settings — all modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) allow deleting, blocking or restricting cookies. See your browser documentation:
- Through incognito / private mode — using your browser in private mode prevents long-term cookie storage;
- Through the analytics opt-out button above.
Important: disabling strictly necessary cookies may render the site non-functional (you won't be able to sign in or make payments).
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, cookie usage practices or legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page, with the last updated date shown at the top. If we ever introduce cookies that require your consent, we will implement a consent mechanism before setting them.
